As Seen on TV...

Nuaire's reputation for innovative products and aesthetically pleasing installations has made its way on the small screen. Channel 4's hugely popular series Grand Designs, fronted by design guru Kevin McCloud, recently aired the Art Deco house in Guildford. The aim of this ambitious new build property was to build an authentically art deco house that incorporates 21st century efficiency.

The striking self build property has a great deal of Art Deco styling built into the fabric of the property and it was important to keep both the exterior and interior looking clean and sharp. The 2 MVHR-LP units were chosen due to their low depth which meant that they could be easily recessed into ceiling and floor voids, avoiding unsightly duct runs. The units which comply with the new building regulations and achieve a New Build 'good practice' rating in GPG268, provide a constant supply of fresh, tempered and filtered air into the home whilst removing moisture from the wet areas. Continuous and controllable ventilation not only minimises unused heat but also creates a highly energy efficient and well ventilated environment.
